Arugam monk

I met this monk on a sunrise walk in Arugam Bay. He studied cinematography in Sydney and apparently became quiet successful in his industry. Living a luxurious life made him feel empty though, and he decided the more things he had, the worse the emptiness felt. He decided to give up all possessions and live as a monk some 20 years ago. He is now 83 and spends every morning walking his local beach for exercise and hoping to talk to tourists to practice his English.
