Sri Lanka Lap

A lap around Sri Lanka on Royal Enfields.

Another trip of a lifetime that words won’t do justice.

Scradly, Cronje, Stretchy and myself hired some gutless Enfields for a lap around Sri Lanka. We rode the bikes through remote terrain and danced through busy traffic for a week.

The scar you might see below my bottom lip is from my bike windscreen going through it. A small incident while chasing Scradly through a gap in between two cars. I was fine. We found a local vet to patch me up, ripped the windscreen off and kept going.

This is the type of adventure I can only hope will still be possible for my kids to do when they are older.
